New York, New York

(continued from January 8, 2015)

My senses were heightened.  I felt alive in the midst of it all.  I knew then exactly where I wanted to live when I got older.  I wanted to be a New Yorker.  I heard my name called again and turned around to find Phillip and his mother.  She asked if I was all right and explained that their train was delayed which was fine with me.  If they were on time I may not have experienced the excitement of the magical city.

Phillip's family lived in a nice neighborhood in Queens, Flushing I think...
